Simple and economical way of shifting
Good gear shifting and economy make Ecomid the perfect choice for trucks with a gross weight of up to 36 tons. The 9 gears of both transmission versions (with direct drive or overdrive) effectively transmit engine power to the wheels and ensure fuel-efficient driving. The particularly powerful crawler gear allows pulling away with a full load and on steep inclines. The Intarder option reliably unburdens the service brakes when traveling downhill. Thanks to the “SERVOSHIFT” booster, gears are shifted smoothly and quickly, without effort, allowing the driver to concentrate on the traffic. All functions are combined in a robust and lightweight housing, and transmission maintenance costs are minimized. Any vehicle can be retrofitted with a PTO.
